Dr. Himanshu Kulkarni, while working on the science and management of India’sgroundwater, has emerged as one of India’s leading scientists on hydrogeology,groundwater management, and groundwater governance. He is Executive Director of ACWADAM, which he co-founded in 1998. Dr. Kulkarni carries with him an
experience of over 33 years in various aspects of groundwater management and
governance.
Retired as Senior Geologist from Groundwater Surveys and Development Agency, a Maharashtra State Govt. organization, Mr. Shashank Deshpande is a hydrogeologist by qualification. He is a medal winner of Master of Technology in Hydrology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee. Mr. Deshpande has 31 years of experience in the water sector, out of which 28 years of experience is exclusively in the field of Groundwater Development & Management and 3 years of academic experience in the field of Geology.
Ms. Vaishali Patkar is an environmentalist and social worker, she is the Director of Climate Collective Pune Environment Foundation an NGO working on the protection and preservation of the environment. She has been associated with various causes from civic governance to women's empowerment. Her community service experience of over 20 years in social work is a huge asset to Bhujal Abhiyan.
Ravindra is an IT industry veteran having served in top Global MNCs in senior positions for over 25 years. He is now a well-known civic activist associated with various Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and NGOs of Pune. His technology background is an enabler for implementing various systems and new-age innovations for providing solutions to real world problems.
Dr. Vishram is a medical professional and a retired management professional who has previously served as visiting faculty in several reputed management institutions. He has authored several books on management science and his writing has been published in various renowned publications.
