Several meetings were organized with the mayor and respective department heads for the formation of a control center in PMC. The Groundwater Cell is expected to promote rainwater harvesting as well as to collect data on groundwater. The PMC today has no such department which deals with groundwater.
A round table meeting of stakeholders was organized at MCCIA for considering governance issues after the publication of the Aquifer map of Pune.
